Łukasz Dyakowski (b. 1974) is a Polish cross-genre composer and songwriter, celebrated for his natural talent in crafting memorable melodies. His musical versatility and expertise allow him to deliver emotionally engaging compositions for film, television, and live performances.
Łukasz’s journey began with classical guitar studies at the Stanisław Moniuszko Music Society in Warsaw. Soon, he was performing original music as a lead singer and songwriter in bands like King’s Cross, Genoside, and Retromania, blending rock, blues, folk, and country influences.
Driven by a passion for musical exploration, Łukasz performed choral works by composers such as Palestrina, Purcell and Bach, and studied composition under Sławomir Czarnecki at Warsaw’s Józef Elsner State Secondary Music School. He honed his songwriting craft through Berklee College of Music courses and guidance from renowned mentors John Braheny and Mark Cawley.
Notable highlights of his career include composing for the Polish TV series Blondynka 2 and performing at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw as the leader of the alternative rock band Retromania. With his talent for melody and cross-genre adaptability, Łukasz delivers music that resonates widely across various media.
In addition to composing, he teaches guitar and leads songwriting workshops, sharing his expertise and passion for music while remaining open to exciting new creative projects.
